About Alex

Alex is a Hoosier-born NYC-based audiobook narrator who codes things on Broadway.

A former library munchkin, her love for books and stories took her into the world of theatre and onto an MFA in Acting at UC Irvine, where she trained extensively in Fitzmaurice Voicework and Knight-Thompson Speechwork while playing an assortment of doctors, maids, and warrior queens.

A few thousand trips on the NYC subway reignited her love of reading and — are we shocked? — the bookish theatre nerd started pursuing audiobook narration. Due to a lifetime spent amongst younger brothers, Alex thrives at whip-smart and feisty characters amidst the worlds of rom-coms, fantasy, and historical fiction, and loves telling stories about women in STEM.

Off the page, Alex loves teaching herself Polish, hitchhiking/backpacking through Europe, wandering the international grocery stores of NYC, and counting all the pugs she sees while strolling through her neighborhood.
